[Mod-post] Disaster in Japan

Everyone please keep Japan in your prayers and thoughts during this time. If you haven't read about it, Japan's east-coast got hit with a massive earthquake and tsunami and there's already hundreds of people dead or missing. For everyone living in Japan currently, I hope you are safe. Biggest regions to get hit were Sendai, Iwate (both of which TOKIO was just at within the last week), Ibaraki, Miyagi, and Fukushima (where the DASH Village is located), but many other cities along all of eastern and central Japan were affected as well. My heart goes out to everyone there and their friends and family and to all those whose homes and businesses have been destroyed or damaged from the flood waters or fires.

I know this isn't media-related, but I thought everyone here would like to know if they hadn't yet been informed, especially since it hits so close to our hearts, so please forgive me.

Please keep Japan and our boys in your prayers.

I'm really worried about the Village and Akio-san, and all the staff and those living in the small villages around there. I have no idea how much damage they might have taken.

I know, the images on tv were terrible, I will keep praying for Japan. But do you know if there is official confirmation that Tokio (the band)is ok? I know that Arashi, News, Kattun, Jin, KinkyKids, Kanjani8 are fine and that some boys from HSJ are injured but I dont know about Tokio, Smap or V6.

Hopefully we'll get more confirmed news about our boys and the village's condition soon, I'm really grateful that Tomoya & Mabo's cases don't seem very serious, but... My heart still feels broken that they're hurt ;__;

It's really sad what is happening in Japan. I hope that all Japanese are well. I was shocked when I heard the news and when I saw the images information.
I pray for all Japanese and TOKIO. We know that Tomoya and Masahiro were injured, but they are well and that Shigeru and Tatsuya were not injured. There is no news about Taichi, I hope he's okay.

Thanks for this post. The whole situation is FUCKING TERRIFYING, when you really start to look at what's going wrong. (Two nuclear plants having difficulties? NOT GOOD.)

It essentially says that the buildings, staff and animals are all OK after the earthquake and that they appreciate everyone's concern. For safety reasons filming has been suspended for now.

My main concern is exposure to radiation since there seems to be radioactivity already released in to the air and especially if there's a meltdown at the nudlear plant in Fukushima.

Sending prayers for everyone in the region and that they can get the situation at the plant under control.

No problem!(^ _ ^) I'm glad they're all safe for now too--I was pretty worried about everyone, but especially about the animals--Hokutou is tied to the house and the goats are stuck in their pen, it's not as easy for them to escape from falling debris as it is for the humans.... In future, if you have difficulties with translating, you may want to try a Firefox add-on called "Perapera-kun." I find it really helpful when I'm trying to translate something.
